About Me

I am a mastercraft visual storyteller with 22 years of professional experience under my belt, specializing in the art of crafting compelling photos and videos that timelessly resonate with humanity.

I proudly graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2009, where I majored in photography and journalism, honing my skills and igniting my passion for visual communication.

In 2010, I enlisted in the United States Navy, where my journey took an exciting turn. I quickly rose to the position of media production director at my command, where I developed scalable, multi-platform content for global broadcast. My efforts didn’t go unnoticed; I was honored with the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal twice for my contributions in reshaping official Navy storytelling and elevating the standards of content creation across all military channels.

After my honorable discharge in 2014, I continued to pursue my passion for storytelling through freelancing in photography, videography, graphic design, web design, digital animation, and various forms of media storytelling.

In 2018, I earned a Master of Arts in Journalism from Baylor University's Department of Journalism, Public Relations, and New Media (JPRNM). During my time there, I played a pivotal role in developing multiple programs focused on advancing curricula and academic leadership.

I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a lecturer at both the University of Missouri and Baylor University, where I taught courses in news media production and strategic communication.

I am unwaveringly dedicated to honest reporting, robust marketing, and making storytelling accessible and affordable to all.

Currently, I own and operate Draft 13 Media, LLC, where I provide high-quality, scalable content to individuals and businesses across the nation.

Let’s create something incredible together!
